This is an intense movie that needs to be watched repeatedly to get the full impact and story
A very cool and intense story with incredible characters and visuals. There are very few movies that tell a story involving gay characters that show it as a natural part of normal life, especially animated, rock, sci-fi movies!
Wonderfully Weird
Strange Frame features a wonderfully weird universe with a bizarre cast of characters including an anthropomorphic lemur. Whats not to like?
Love, oppression, and saxophones
I'd like to commend the producers and artists who worked on this film. I understand that all the artists and animators were novices and amateurs, some were even of highschool age, and part of the reason for this film was to give these people the experience and opportunity to work on such a project.
My favorite part of the whole movie was the "Locuna" scene. In my opinion, some of the best artwork in the film. My only disappointment was that it was too short.
As a whole, the story was interesting and the ending was exciting. The colors used in it are striking and flow together nicely. It got a little too "psychedelic" for me at times, though. The way Parker and Naia first meet and go straight to sex while a riot is going on around them stuck me as a little cheesey. But, all in all, I liked it.
